Immerse yourself in the art world and do some Christmas shopping at the same time! Visit various sites around highland to see artist’s studios and their creations for sale.

Souper Saturday Ministry

Weekly open-studio group led by Brianne Youngblood, all skill levels welcome, learn hand-building/wheel-throwing at your own pace. Includes tools, supplies* & firings. *First month includes a 25lb. Bag of clay! (clay purchased after that).

Advent Study: On the Way to Bethlehem
Wednesdays, December 3, 10, & 17 | 12–1pm | Noel Café
Pause in the midst of the holiday season to journey toward Christmas with others in a time of reflection, conversation, and fellowship. Each week, we’ll gather for a light lunch and a guided discussion based on the book, On the Way to Bethlehem by Rob Fuquay—a thoughtful exploration of what it means to prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ.
You do not need to purchase the book to participate, but they are available through Cokesbury.com or Amazon.com for about $10–$12.

Thanksgiving Worship Service

A Service of gratefulness for our countless blessings. We are collecting special items for those who need something extra this holiday season. Bring the following to worship as you are able: canned items: whole kernel corn, cream style corn, potatoes, peaches, pears, fruit cocktail, along with sugar 4-5lb. bag, and rice 1lb. bag.
Poinsettia Sales
Order in honor or memory of loved ones. Poinsettias are displayed in worship before and during Christmas Eve. A list of those purchased will be available Christmas Eve. Please pick up those ordered following the Christmas Eve service. $15 each. Order forms are around the church or order below:
Highland Revitalization Talk!
William Hartman, Executive Director of Revitalize Historic Highland will be here to share exciting plans for renovating houses and property in Highland, including some around Noel. RHH is a new non-profit organized to protect and promote buildings, landscapes and sites important to the diverse heritage of the historic Highland neighborhood. Highland Christmas Shoppe Donations
Collecting gifts now through December 8
The Shoppe, which is held this year on Saturday, December 13, 9am-12pm, at the Highland Center Gym, places new gift items and toys donated for Highland residents in a Shoppe, where they can purchase reduced price gifts for Christmas. Donation wish lists are around the church or shop for donations online at the link below.

A former caregiver herself, Stacey R. Hand, MA, CVT is a research associate at LSUHS Center for Brain Health. Over the past 15 years she has helped hundreds of families through her presentations and her work for The Bridge Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center.

Bible Buddies
