Faith @ Work will host a special food drive beginning on Sunday, Sept. 13

Faith @ Work (formerly Project Noel) will launch their next churchwide effort during worship on the morning of Sunday, Sept. 13. The “Meal-in-a-Bag Project” will encourage the Noel UMC congregation to support Noel Food Pantry by shopping for all of the ingredients needed to prepare a family meal. Those ingredients will be given out in bags, along with step-by-step cooking instructions, to patrons of Noel Food Pantry.

To participate:

• Download the recipe pamphlet or pick up a bag and shopping list during either worship service on Sunday, Sept. 13 (or at any time after Sept. 13 by visiting the Church Office at 520 Herndon Street)

• Select one or more of the recommended recipes and shop for their ingredients. Purchase all of the ingredients and return them to Noel UMC by Sunday, Sept. 27 (drop-off in the Purple Bag Ministry donation boxes)

• Noel Food Pantry will distribute the meal kits to their patrons
