Inspired by Isaiah 60:1, Rise Up encourages daughters and young women to arise in confidence, stand firm in their God-given identity, and shine God's light through courageous faith and purposeful living.

This retreat for sixth-grade through twelfth-grade girls and their female mentors (moms, grandmothers, aunts, etc.) will be held at Camp Caney in Minden, Aug. 21-23, 2026. Campers should plan to arrive at Camp Caney by 6 pm on Friday, Aug. 21. The weekend will conclude in Shreveport following Noel UMC’s 11 a.m. worship on Sunday, Aug. 23. The cost to attend is $75 per person and includes lodging, meals, outdoor activities, music, crafting, and more. Campers and their mentors are responsible for transportation to and from Camp Caney.
