Souper Saturday
Last Saturday of each month
Volunteers from Noel make soup, put it in containers,
and deliver it to homebound, disabled, and elderly persons in our community. If you
would like to volunteer to help on the last Saturday of the month (9:00-10:30 a.m.), please call Leah Miller or the church office at 318-221-5207.

Small Group- The Deep
Sunday, November 2
12:00 p.m. (immediately after the NOW service)
Rasmussen Classroom
The DEEP small group will begin discussing the
book “The Shack” on November 2 after the Contemporary
Service. Lunch will be provided. This
very popular work of fiction will cause you to
look at the Trinity, forgiveness, and relationships
in a whole new way. Books will be available for
purchase in the church office.
Youth Meeting

CALLING ALL YOUTH!! If you haven’t heard Declaration is
THE district wide youth worship event and this month it is coming to NOEL! So, come on out and shout with us!
Dinner is at 4:45 p.m. (for Noel youth only). Don’t be late!! Bring $2.00 for food. The festivities end at 7:00 p.m.
Noel’s Book Club

Enjoy a covered dish lunch with the group as we discuss this month’s reading selection, “Montana Mistletoe.” You may purchase your copies of the book for $5.00 in the Library and the Education Office. We will also discuss ideas for future book selections. So, bring a friend, your covered dish, and your ideas for future books to read.
United Methodist Women Meeting

Join the United Methodist Women on Tuesday, November 4, at 10:00 a.m. in the church parlor to hear a program presented by Annette Fortuna. Annette will be sharing on the topic of “ A Just Peace? Palestine”. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear an informative, captivating talk given by Annette Fortuna.

Mexico Mission Trip Informational Meeting

The 2009 Mexico mission trip is scheduled for February 14 – 21, 2009. Come hear about this mission adventure
and the plans for the 2009 trip. The trip is open to anyone over age 16, from any church, and there are a variety of ways to serve. Come and invite a friend!

Health Screen Specialists is coming to Noel.
This company provides non-invasive, painless,
ultrasound screening tests that may help in the
prevention of heart disease, stroke, liver and kidney
disease, as well as many other vascular type
diseases. There are several different packages of
exams to choose from and are offered at reasonable
costs. This company has conducted screenings
at several different churches all over Louisiana.
