Unexpected Grace, Ancient Truths for Contemporary Women, Wednesdays, August 27, 5:30 p.m., Rasmussen Classroom. Based on the book by Jennie Afman Dimkoff (who will be coming to Noel Church on October 18) and facilitated by Debbie Covington, this ten-week study will take you into a deeper study of each story. Youwill find yourself challenged and encouraged as you discover how God's "unexpected grace" can be experienced in your own life. Jennie is a gifted storyteller who researches the history behind the Bible stories and makes them come alive. The cost of the book is $14.00.
Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of
Ascent, Tuesdays, September 2, 6:00-8:00 p.m.,
or Wednesdays, September 3, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Rasmussen Classroom. This 7-session Beth
Moore study, facilitated by Annette Fortuna, will explore the major feasts of Israel and take you on a
journey through Psalms 120-134. Themes such as joy and gratitude, redemption, repentance, the power
of blessings, facing ridicule, and more are explored in detail. Modern-day believers can learn much from
these treasured Psalms in their journey toward greater intimacy with God. The cost is $14.00.

Invitation to Genesis, Wednesdays, September 10, 6:30-8:00 p.m. OR Thursdays, September
11, 9:00-10:30 a.m., facilitated by Reverend Todd Mallory—DISCIPLE is a family of Bible studies
that is based on the assumption that people are hungry for the Word. Noel will begin offering a shortterm
(10-week) version of DISCIPLE around the theme “New Beginnings.” This study of Genesis will be
offered on Wednesday evenings and Thursday mornings to give everyone the opportunity to participate.
The learning approach will be group discussion, rather than lecture, and will encourage the use of multiple
Bible translations and study Bibles.
Christianity 101—NO THEOLOGIANS ALLOWED!, Sundays, beginning September 7, 5:30 p.m.,
taught by Reverend Dave Fortuna. Need a refresher on the basics of our faith? Here’s an 8-week
study that will answer fundamental questions about Christian beliefs. We will spend some time looking
into our Wesleyan roots as well. No expertise needed, all questions respected, and no reading out loud
required!
Making Every Monday Count, Mondays, beginning September 15, led by Reverend Warren
Clifton. We will come together for a time of devotion and then enjoy Monday Night Football!
