Noel Food Pantry
Serving others is a big part of what Noel Church is all about. From mission trips to annual drives, Noel cares about others and wants to be the hands and feet of Christ in this world.
Discover ways you can get involved by contacting Rachel Scott, Minister of Service and Outreach at scottrl@bellsouth.net or call the church office at 318-221-5207. Here are some great opportunities to serve:
Easter Meal
Noel Church provides Easter Meal for the neighborhood averaging over 500 people each year. Fun family activities and barbeque chicken combine for a great resurrection celebration at Noel.
Giving Factory
The Giving Factory is an event that is held at Noel where we put together grocery sacks for older adults and children at the neighborhood schools that need food assistance during the holidays. Last year we provided over 700 families with two bags of groceries.
The gym is set up like a grocery store where the members shop for the families. They are allowed to put a certain number of items in each sack for the families and then the bags are delivered on the following day to the different families. We also put together toiletry bags for the local rescue missions, Salvation Army, YWCA, Providence House, etc. We provided over 300 toiletry bags. We usually do this event on the second Sunday in December.
Noel University
Noel University is a tutoring/mentoring program that is held on Wednesday afternoons. Local neighborhood schools provide names of children that need help.
Angel Tree
Noel is involved in the Angel Tree program each Christmas season.

Noel Food Pantry
Noel Neighborhood Ministries has the largest food pantry in northwest
Louisiana, giving out over 700 bags of food per month to needy people of
Caddo parish. The Food Pantry is operated by a part-time Director,
Susan Foster, and over 70 volunteers from Noel and various churches.
Volunteers interview those seeking assistance, bag food, unload trucks,
greet those entering the Food Pantry and serve on the board. Other
services offered through Neighborhood Ministries are "start-up kits" for
those who have experienced a recent house fire or moving out of a
shelter, and after-school tutoring for students from Creswell Elementary
school.
