Memorial United Methodist Church

Because God loves diversity and because we each connect to God in our own unique ways, Noel Church offers two worship services on Sunday mornings and a third one on each first Sunday of the month:
Traditional Worship Service
Noel holds a traditional worship service every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. The service is formal and follows traditions that have been passed down for many generations through the Methodist church.
The service includes historic hymns, responsive readings and special music performed by Noel's Chancel Choir. A weekly biblical-based sermon is given by either the Pastor or Associate Pastor, although sometimes we welcome guest speakers.
Contemporary (N.O.W.) Worship Service
In addition to its traditional service, Noel also has a contemporary worship service each Sunday at 11 a.m. in the fellowship hall. This service, also known as N.O.W. ('N Other Words), is more laid back and less formal than the earlier service. This service has less of the "fuss" of the traditional service.
This service is smaller and therefore has a more intimate setting. The Music is more modern and is provided by Noel's wonderful praise band. The service is lead by Jonathan Andrews, our new youth director.
The same sermon that is delivered in the traditional service is also given at the contemporary service.
Wesleyan Service of Communion and Liturgy
On every first Sunday of the month, Noel hosts three worship services. In addition to the normal services, Noel also offers a special Communion Service at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel.
Dr. Don Webb leads this worship service which is filled with deep Methodist traditions. The sermon given by Dr. Webb is often based on the meaning of Communion for all of God's Children.
Special Notes About Our Services
Between Sunday School and Worship, we offer a small finger-food breakfast in the rear fellowship hall from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Every fifth Sunday the traditional and contemporary worship services combine in the sanctuary at 10:30 a.m.
Childcare is provided for every worship service.
